OMF & Embedded Media
Hey everyone,
Is there a way to not embed media when creating an OMF in FCP? I’ve done it in Avid before, but can’t seem to find the option in Final Cut.
I’d like to just create the session without the media so the file size is smaller.

FCP only makes OMF’s with embedded media. Its not optional.

I’m pretty sure you can do it with Automatic Duck’s “Pro Export FCP” plugin. But it is $$$$.
