OMF compatibility
I created an OMF with embedded media in Avid Xpress Pro Mac at 1:1, then tried to import it into Avid Xpress on Windows 2000.
When trying to import at 1:1 we get an error of “Exception NO WRONG FORMAT media found.”
When trying to import at 2:1 and asking it to change the resolution of media upon import we get an error of “Exception: PMM_FMOB_Expected”.Anyone have any ideas?

Are you trying to import your OMF into an MXF Project?
my second guess would be check your import/ media creation settings

Is your Avid Xpress on PC capable of using 1.1 footage?

I am on an older PC 4.5 Pentium processor running windows 2000 professional, 512 MB SDRAM, obviously older Avid software 2.0. I don’t think I am able to run 1:1. Windows seems to recognize the deck but that doesn’t seem to make a difference to Avid.
