  • OMF audio export error using Copy All Media

I was creating an OMF of audio for audio post.
I used OMF 2.0 and set the option for ‘Copy All Media’, so that there were no ‘handles’ but rather the entire original clip duration.
Using this option, the OMF contained only the duration of the clip used in the segment (say, 2 secs, not 1 min.) as if I’d consolidated with no handles.
When I export again, but change the option (and nothing else) to ‘Consolidate Media’ I get (as expected) 2 secs plus whatever handles I asked for.

Any idea why the Copy All Media function isn’t working for me?

    Thanks,
    Neil.

No idea why this is happening, but it’s a bad idea anyways.
OMF has a file size limit, and you will reach that quite fast.
If you want to take all media, link to it rather than embed.
(dunno the options for that from memory, but you’ll find it…)
