June 21, 2011 at 4:16 pmThe fact that a third-party tool can offer this feature implies there’s some way to get timeline data out of FCP X. It doesn’t have an explicit XML export, but has anyone checked what its native file format is? It wouldn’t be too surprising if it were XML-based; that’s common for many of Apple’s apps these days.

Apple folk made it abundantly clear that the ecosystem was very important to them, and that there will be a new, and much improved, replacement for the current XML workflow. -

Then 1.5 will come out and ill use that for my pro work. I need my Kona card, XML & OMF on a constant basis so ……..
I think that was the idea apple had anyways, ill wait no probs
