older powerbook G4 cant sign into apple airport extreme router…
i have an older (like 5+ year old) powerbook G4 that simply wont sign on to my apple airport extreme network. it sees the router, but it fails to be able to join.
it has an airport card and can sign onto various other networks but not this one. it also cant sign onto my alternate linksys router.
every other device i have, including iphones, windows machines etc, have no problem with either router. is there some setting somewhere im missing for old G4s?

Im betting that your new airport extreem is set up as an N only network thus not letting your old computer on because it does not have 802.11N
