People have reported that the Encore DVD burning process stops after 7MBs. It has been attributed to third party software in the “Things a Software to Avoid when authoring DVD” on the Adobe FAQ site. I have removed aRoxio and NEro. I have suspended use of the AVG virus software. I still can get it to work. I know that there is a work around, but has anyone finally figured out how to get rid of the offending stuff?

I have seen many posts about Encore, some of them about problems with burning, but I can’t remember ever having seen a post about burning stopping after 7 or 7.5MB. ???

I had the same problem last night as I was building a dvd… It hit 7.63 megs then stopped. I tried it again, after closing out any other applications, as well as disabling ANYDVD. If you have Anydvd running, you may want to try disabling it. I am not sure if this is what solved it or if it was just a stroke of luck, but it worked for me.
