Old Photo Album Transitions
I am looking for a transitions plug-in for FCP that will let me show photos in an old fashioned photo album and pan/scan from one to the other, then to the next, etc. These are old black and white pix, so I want to show them on an old black background photo album with the kind of rough black paper texture that those old albums had and preferably with the little corner holders that held the photos in place on the page. Has anyone run into anything like that?

Thanks for the tip. Was it from RevoStock? I see they have several photo album style plug ins. I don’t have After Effects. Maybe I could do it with their trial version?

This would be pretty easy to do in Motion. All you’d have to do is find (or create in Photoshop) the black paper and a single image of the “corners”. Make the black paper your background, put placeholders where the pictures go and drag/rotate the corners and place them at the corners of each placeholder. Save as a template. Drag in your photos, animate your camera movements and voila!
