It is now the middle of June with me waiting for another update to FCP X wondering what gives. I am getting worried that it might be the next item that will be on the EOL list. Guess it is time for Plan B to be put in place.

Tetris is my favorite video game unless tracks are involved.

They did two standing room only presentations at NAB where everyone had to sign an NDA.

All I could get out of anyone who went is “You’re gonna be very happy.”

    Patience!

Ha ha, that statement sounds like a flashback from 2011.

The unknown is whether this has to wait until Sierra and whether or not that introduces yet another round of compatibility issues.

Come on Oliver, spill the beans… I know you’re well aware that Apple has decided to EOL FCPX and bring back Legacy. Why are you torturing these guys?

Any word on whether old-school QuickTime will be supported in Sierra?

Alex Gollner commented on that in his blog. Go to the end.

[Douglas K. Dempsey] “Ha ha, that statement sounds like a flashback from 2011.”

It’s true, the other tidbit I got was “They are trashing everything in FCP X and starting over from scratch again and rebranding it fcpOS.”

It will require a VR headset and special gloves to operate.

    OK, not true.

No, actually the next version will only work on Windows 10. 🙂
