can anyone suggest a mac program that works with fcp (especially motion) to create 3-d animation? I’m in need of a 3-d dog that has to run, walk and climb in a scene, but I need it to be an animation in order to get it to do exactly what is required. What programs would be the best and have the lowest learning curve? Anyone got suggestions on where I could purchase the animated animal?

    thanks in advance

What you are asking falls beyond the abilities of Motion. Using a combination of 3DSMAX and After effects (with some 3D tracking sofware like PFHOE) you might get where you want – but none of this is easy. Find a 3D artist, and farm this out…
