Off-Line editing for negative cutting
Hello,
This may be a stpud question, but I’m a little confused here…
I’m editing a short film shot on 35mm. When finished I will send an EDL to the lab, and they will do a negative cut.
I wonder what settings to use in FCP?
The footage was scanned to digibeta and has a 25 fps TC .
Should I edit in 24, 24@25 or 25 fps?Thanks:)

depends what speed was used when you shot the film.
if 25, edit at 25.
if 24, you need to conform the video after capture to 24fps,
and set it;s TC rate to 24@25
edit in 24 fps sequencse with a TC rate 24@25.think that;s it,
but it;s all in the manual.good luck,
