    Hi there,

I’m having a weird thing going on where my waveform suddenly vanishes at a certain point in an audio track. Whether its on the timeline or in the viewer, suddenly there is no more waveform after a certain point, even though the audio definitely exists (I can hear it fine)

There are no x’s or anything like that in the timeline, its just blank. And in the viewer, the waveform shows up to the cut off point, and then from that point on is blank and slightly greyed out.

Source is all captured from one continuous HDV tape. Its the latest version of fcp, and I’ve tried trashing prefs and waveform cache.

Anyone have any thoughts what might be happening?

I’ve put a screengrab of the issue up here:

    Thanks,

    Sam.

Quit FCP and trash all your caches.

    Waveform, thumbnail, Prof and Obj.
