Obtain text file with Project names, and all assets within?
This might be asking for too much but I’m wondering if there’s any way to obtain some form of text file (XML, CSV, or plain Text) that includes the name of the Project as well as any other assets within.
I often do high-volume work and as you can imagine I painstakingly assemble each project by hand. It’s very repetitive stuff so it’s not that difficult for human error to kick in. Thus, I’d like to be able to open any type of text file I could get and perhaps do some GREPping so that it’s much easier for me to double-check that I’ve put the correct audio, video and graphic files in each Project.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’m trying to swallow the $99 price tag though.
I’m going to look into exporting XMLs from FCP before I take the plunge.

Hi Patrice,
I just purchased Producer’s Best Friend and I think it can only do 1 XLS per Project. I realize I wasn’t clear in my original post but I need to be able to export an XLS that contains all the Projects within it.
I emailed support but if you can confirm this limitation that’d be great.
Hopefully I can get a refund if it doesn’t do what I need.
