Hey again, I’m attempting to portray some stationary objects as if they were present in the Matrix, and am having some trouble. First, I created an AVI of a full stage covered with the Matrix Falls emitter, and am using that as the background of my new project’s layer 0. I know there are a few area emitters in the Color_from_layer library that I could use (subsequently masking it with my alpha image), and change the shape to the letters that the actual Matrix Falls emitter uses, but none of them are working well, and I am having trouble adapting them.

Is there an emitter specifically for this sort of project? Or perhaps an Area Emitter version of the Matrix Falls emitter? It would make things much easier.

I’m not sure how this would make it easier, nor would it be appropriate.

I’m having a hard time understanding what the problem is. It sounds like this might be something that would require a 3D program. Use the matrix emitter to create an animated texture, then apply the texture to the 3D objects (or whatever).
