  Object won’t unclick

  I’m new to C4D. I installed the program and I’ve had this problem from the beginning. When I create an object and try to manipulate it in the viewport my mouse gets stuck and won’t unclick off of it. The only way I can get it to let go is if I hit ESC and then it resets the object.

  I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and the problem is still there. Is there something setting I need to change to fix this? I’m not really sure what to do.
