NXCAM recording in SD 16:9 comes out looking interlaced?
Hi, I’m a newbie to the forum.
I just got a Sony NX5, and recording in HD is fine.
But when I record in SD 720 x 576, and log and transfer into FCP 7.0.3, the footage looks like it needs to be deinterlaced or something. It has those strange lines on the edge of objects, especially when there is movement.
I’m using Pro Res 442, and when I export via compressor to mpg 2, it’s a bit better, but still not quite right.
My sequence settings are automatically generated when I drag the clips into the timeline.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? It’s quite urgent as I have a job coming up that requires footage in SD 16:9.
Thanks, Elise
