NXCAM HXR-NXU: 1) Firmware update? 2)Android Remote Control App for the Cam?
Last couple of questions in the conversation for tonight 🙂
1 – How can we check and see if we have the latest firmware update for the cam… and find out how to download and install the latest if a newer one is available?
2 – Thought just occurred to me that there is an android app for remotely controlling our television and cable stuff… and even for remotely controlling sound mixers… so…
Is there an Android App for remotely controlling the Sony NXCAM HXR-NXU ?
I really appreciate the help, so thanks again in advance !!!

you need to run the firmware updater application to check your version. https://www.sony.com/nxcam
no wifi support on the NX5, I’m afraid, but it is on all of the newer PMW models (PMW160, PMW200, PMW300 etc)
