I’ve recently purchased an NXcam complete with the 128gb memory pack so that I can do some basic documentary shooting. The camera seems great and I am shooting in the highest HD mode at 30fps progressive.
I successfully loaded the Vegas Pro editting software onto a fairly new Sony Vaio laptop in the 64 bit configuration, but, I can’t load the Content Management Utility [that comes with the camera] onto the same laptop. Seems the CMU doesn’t support 64 bit [even Sony] computers…darn! Tried loading CMU onto a late model 64 bit Acer desktop and for some reason, it seems to work just fine. I had been
counting on using the laptop for extended periods when away from home.

Bob, I have the Content Management Utility installed on my 64 bit Dell XPS laptop and it works fine. Did you make sure to plug the camera in during the installation? If you just try plugging the FMU128 in instead of the camera itself the installation will not run, but once it is installed you can then plug the FMU128 in directly.
