I am using the NX5U and Final Cut Pro 7. I am wondering if anyone is having problems transferring footage from a card which has clips with multiple resolutions or multiple frame rates on the same card. Whenever we make sure all the footage shot on the card is at the same resolution/frame rate it imports fine, but if we record different resolutions on the card Final Cut Pro won’t mount the card in the Log and Transfer window. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Have you tried transferring all the files from the card onto a harddrive first? Then once you’ve done that, open the L&T window and use the icon in the upper left (a folder with a plus sign) to find the files on the harddrive and import them that way.
