    Hi there,

    I’ve already posted this in the Discreet Combustion section, but would really appreciate any info about this issue as it’s specifically Apple orientated.

    As discovered from a previous thread, it looks like our performance issues with the Reveal Paint Op in Combustion lie with using a ATI Radeon9600. We now want to swap out the graphics cards on our Macs for Nvidia 6800’s. Here in the UK the price difference is about

    You might want to check out the ATI X800XT video card as it seems to be the best card available for a G5 MAC today. The NVIDIA 6800 can drive two 30″ Apple cinema displays but the X800XT is supposed to be faster in the pipelines business?
