Hi, I built a R9 system to learn grading and it had a Nvidia 550 Ti. This often did not play in real time but got me started.

I recently got some paid grading work and thought it was time to upgrade the card. It was not high paid job so I went for the Nvidia 660 Ti. I also went to R10.

Now when Resolve starts it does not complain about the card being underpowered but the new card has not made much difference. It now says it is playing at 25fps mote often but the playback is not smooth and when I put more than a couple of nodes on it drops to 12 or 8fpt.

This is not what I was expecting and is not what others seems to be experience. I have a i5 33550 3.3 ghz 4 core CPU and 16GB of memory. I am running on Windows 7.

What is going in, have I just wasted £150?

    Ben
