  NTSC to PAL… how do I do it in FCP?

  I was wondering if you took a NTSC movie and dropped it into a PAL Sequence and rendered it, would it be a true PAL output if I layed it off to DigiBeta PAL?

  I’m trying to take several quicktimes and lay them off to tape on PAL. I just want to rent a deck and do them all myself rather than take it to a dub house and get charged a whole lot of money.

  Has anyone done this through FCP? Any other suggestions on how to get NTSC to PAL inexpensively and with good quality?
