NTSC TO PAL DVD
guys,
do u know if it’s possible to convert NTSC dv to PAL m2v using QuickTime?basically i have a video that was edited in NTSC and needs to be output onto a PAL DVD…and instead of sending the self contained file to a conversion house, is there any software solution for this? and i’m assuming that FCP can’t out put PAL from NTSC….

fcp can for sure, just drop your ntsc footage on a pal sequence. the quality from the built in conversion isn’t great though, but a plugin like the “g standards conversion” will do the trick.
