June 15, 2019 at 11:16 pmI am using a logitec web camera.
I used the Logitech Capture software to create a double screen on mp4 format. (Published in feb 2019)
This consists of a desktop screen with a smaller screen of a live web cam of me speaking to the cameraThen i used your suggestion of handbrake to convert it over to vegas
Constant frame rate helped.
Last prob is that the sound and video are out of sync.
(I don’t know if you are supposed to have as many probs with the whole process.
But if i can solve the sound ynsc it should work out.do you think it is ok to unlock the video and sound tracks using the use quantum shuffle to sync them?

June 15, 2019 at 11:27 pmHi Andrew,
I’m not familiar with your setup. But for future recordings I would look for a setting within the audio recording and video capture and determine if you can enduse a delay that will sync the capture video with your voice over.
For the captures you already have, I would just ungroup the video from the audio and then shift one or the other (I usually shift the audio, but either will work) until you get sync. Once you get it sync’ed check to see hw far off it is and that will be your guide for how much you will need to delay in your future recordings.
If your audio is off the same amount through the recording, this method will work. But if your audio has an increasing or decreasing sync rate throughout the recording, that is going to make a mess.
Also, I would suggest downloading the free trial of Plural Eyes and try it out. After you see how easy it is for this app to sync your recordings you may find it worth the price.
Hope this helps….
Best Regards……George
