  Notification for missing fonts?

  I’m have an issue where Premiere does not recognize that a font is missing, does not prompt me to let me know that a font is missing and replaces the missing font with a new font without telling me. This is terrible and has really messed me up, especially the time when I didn’t notice this had happened, continued working and saved the project only to realize later that I had to go through every lower 3rd and change the text to the correct font.

  Is there any way to have Premiere notify me (like AE does) when a font that is used in the project does not exist on the computer?

  I’m using PPro CC 2014 8.1 on a late 2012 iMac.
