• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Nothing for DV NTSC is working. HDV1080i60 works fine.

  Hello –

  I have
  -4 x HDV (1440x1080i) tapes
  -3 x DV NTSC dubs (one is in LP mode…I dunno if that matters)
  All to be used in same project.

  1st thought was capture HDV as HDV and send the sequence to Compressor overnight.
  ehhh…

  2nd thought —
  Capture DV as DV
  Downconvert the HDV from the camera (Sony HDR-FX7) when capturing.
  I changed the Camera VCR settings – (before plugging the FW in)
  AUTO is OFF & switched it to play out DV. I put in a DV tape, Started everything up…
  EasySetup : DV NTSC – CANT FIND DV DEVICE-
  Click continue and try to open Log & Capture – I CRASH!
  I try my all my tricks after a while.
  -Quit-Restart-Shutdown-Trashed Prefs- nothin’ seems to work.

  I have in the past – captured an HDV as DV just to test…so I know that way works.
  -except today!
  and Nothing for DV NTSC in FCP is working for me. HDV 1080i60 works fine.
