  • not previewing from start on first pass of its loop

Posted by Ben Wolfinsohn on November 5, 2014 at 11:28 pm

when I hit preview, or “0” key on keyboard, and then after it renders all the frames, the first time it does it’s loop play it starts from about 1/4 of the way into the timeline start point. then after it plays once through on the 2nd and all the rest of the loops it plays from the start. so every time i want to watch a preview i first have it watch it play from 1/4 after start, then i can watch from beginning. why is the first time in the loop not starting from the beginning?

    thanks!

When it starts a quarter of the way in, is it starting at the playhead instead of the beginning of the work area? If so, you can toggle that behavior in the Preview panel.

nope. regardless of where the play head is it still only starts the first play at 1/4 of the way in.
