I’ve imported a PSD file with 3 layers. Only the bottom layer is accepting lights and casting shadows. All three layers are 3D and have the same material settings.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Dave-

Thanks for the reply, but there isn’t a 2D layer above the 3D layers. All of the PSD layers are 3D, but only the bottom one is accepting lights and shadows.

How were these layers imported (composition/footage)? Are there layer switches that were accidentally toggled? Someone would have to see your timeline (or have you give a very detailed description) to exhaust all the possible problem scenarios.
