    Dear COW,

I am using Firefox as my web browser and I haven’t been able to copy/paste text for quite awhile from the forum pages. All I get is a “NO” symbol when I try.

Anything I can do (other than changing browsers) to rectify?

    thanx

    Are you on windows?

Both copy and paste in firefox (mac) and using the Q key to quote are working for me.

I am on Windows 2000 with the latest version of Firefox. The only thing out of the ordinary is that I am using a script blocker Firefox extention but for the COW I have disabled any blocking.

I have no idea what may be happening but I suspect that it is just something in the combination of Firefox and running it under Windows 2000.

We have had no other complaints about this kind of error and so we have to conclude that that is the case.

Sorry, Lee, but we really have no suggestions.

    Best regards,

The reason you are getting the “NO” symbol is because you have already highlighted an area to copy. When you go back to try to highlight it you are actually trying to drag something that is already highlighted.

The highlight color on the site right now is blue with a white background. What you are use to seeing is white with a blue background when something is highlighted.
