Hello! I’m trying to help a friend that uses FCP. We couldn’t figure out how to normalize the audio. I’m not sure if that’s the term you use for FCP, but with Vegas Vid I just right click, scroll down to switches and click on “normalize” and it boosts the audio track as much as possible without clipping. How do I do this with FC? Thank you! dhill

There is no normalize function within FCP. There is in Soundtrack Pro.

    All the best,

    Tom

Peak has a normalizing function if you own it. If not you can download Audacity which also has a normalize function. It’s a free download. You just need to search around a bit to find it.
