    Hey guys,

I am new to FCPX and have a question on the best way to handle something.

I have been shooting multiple video clips of a construction project every two weeks while it’s being built from the same spot. All the footage is shot in 4K, to allow me room to crop/reposition, as each time I shoot the footage its in the same space but not exact. What I’m wondering is what is the best way/method to align the clips so the frame dosen’t shift from one clip to the next. Will Multi Cam work for this? or is there a better way?

I’d probably sit one clip over the other, set the top clip blend mode to difference so you can easily see when they’re in alignment, then move the top clip to the end of the sequence and repeat.

Thanks Jeff. I’ll try that out.
