    There are degraining filters in Sapphire plugins… Combustion 4 also has a degraining filter which I think pretty much works the same as described above using blurring.

    That’s the closest thing I’ve seen to denoising. What kind of noise do you have? If you have the budget you can take it to a transfer suite and do a tape to tape transfer with grain or noise reduction, if the facility has the right kind of machine.

    Thanks for the advice. I’ve tried blurring and although some of the grainyness goes away, the blurring defeats the purpose. I’ll check on the tape to tape idea.
