    Hey all,

I don’t know TOO much about Cinema 4D so the answer to my question may be very simple. I recently downloaded a Studio Scene and added some text to it, when I render it out there is noise all over the background and floor, it seems to happen wherever light is touching.

I have never used Global Illumination before and tried it for this render, so I am pretty sure it’s something that’s happening in these settings, I just don’t know what.

I tried raising and lowering the min/max resolution, raising/lowering the accuracy, checking/unchecking the Identical Noise Distribution check box and all produced similar results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I can upload a video of the final render if that would help someone narrow down the issue.

    Thanks!

GI depends on a lot of things so no guarantee without the scene file but upload away…

OK, thanks for the quick response!

I will post a link as soon as I get the video rendered.

If it would help I could post all of my GI settings…

    Thanks for the help!

which GI Mode are you using? it should be one of the Animated ones, probably Camera Animation – the Help has more info about what they are meant for
