Has anyone been using Noise Deformer? It is pretty cool and for the most part works well…

But when I turn on the Wind check box things go haywire… no matter what speed and offset I put the wind parameters at… the wind moves at light speed and I just get a really jumpy effect.

I have created an Ocean plane, subdivided and use noise deformer to have it undulate. I add the wind to move it … and it just doesn’t work.

Is this a bug? Am I missing something?

    Thanks

    TAK

Scale and wind velocity seem to be related. With the default scale of 1 wind velocity was nuts until 0.1-0.2

when I cranked the scale up to 900 I was able to get away with wind up to 200 (it’s all going to depend on what your after, of course). All this was with Animate turned off just for simplictiy but animate looks like it works independantly of the scale so when I added it at the default small values it looked ok.
