“No Vector Paths”
I’m having trouble with Zaxworks. When I apply 3D Invigorator to an .ai or .eps file, I get an error message saying “No user vector paths in file.” I’m using Zaxworks that came with AfterEfx 6.5 Pro.
I’ve tried saving my .ai as 10.0, 8.0, 7.0, 5.5/5.0. Same results.
I’ve done this before, but now I’m having problems. Not sure why.

Hi jonereb,
Make sure you’re using the latest version of Invigorator – check http://www.zaxwerks.com. Do convert any text in the graphic to outlines, do uncheck the “use compression” box when you save the file. Do save it as Illustrator, not eps. Do not use bit-mapped based effects like blends in the art.
