    No Sound?

    So whenever I import a video, it doesn’t import the sound. I have sound for the video, but PP won’t import it. WHy is this? It’s an .avi file. I’ve tried other files and they work fine, but for some reason it won’t import avi sound

    AVI could be about any codec. It likely is that the AVI “doesn’t” have sound, or that the format isn’t suppoted by Premiere.

    Use a utility like GSpot to interrogate the AVI file to determine the actual codecs used in it.
