No sound after rendering
Why do I not get the sound track in the final result when my composition is rendered?
I can here the sound when moving the time cursor in the time line (ctrl+alt), and
I can see the waveform in the timeline. However, in the ‘Render Queue’ pane the
‘Output Audio’ label says ‘Off’. I guess this is the explonation, but how do I turn it on?

I understand that AE first of all is a video/motion tool, but what is the natural workflow
when making a complete video production? Do you first edit the raw material using e.g
Premiere and then add visual effects using AE or is it the other way around?
I am wondering since the audio is ‘deleted’ from the
source material when using AE.Others:

to turn audio on in ae, click the output module in the render queue and click render audio near the bottom… you’ll also want the set the correct setting for you audio (sample rate, etc.).
generally, i wouldn’t render audio if you are taking it back into an nle, there’s really little reason to and your nle should handle audio better than ae.
as far as workflow, edit first, effect 2nd, bring the effected pieces back into the nle project. effecting generally takes longer, so you just want to effect what you need (why waste time rendering more than you need).
