no signal-VCID issue
I fiddled around yesterday with some dubbing activities. Today I can’t get back to business because when attempting to capture, the “no signal” window comes up, followed by “DIO Producer-vcID does not match incoming video, New VCID:140.” I assume there’s a setting that needs to be changed, but I can’t find the fix. I see that this same problem was submitted last year, but I don’t see any responses. I’d be mighty grateful for an assist!

For anyone else who has had this problem, and no one stepped forward to offer suggestions…my issue was resolved when I re-attached the firewire to the deck. The gremlins read it correctly the second time around.

I’m having the same problem with capture and the “No video signal present” with a further “DIO Producer. VCID does not match incoming video, new VCID:140” – I’ve disconnected the firewire from the deck and PC several times, re-booted, changed the firewire ports on the PC, everything. I have remote control of the deck, which suggests that the PC can see the deck etc, it simply won’t capture. Any ideas much appreciated?
