No png option in particle illusion render, or transparent AVIs
im trying to render in particle illusion (its been years… i havent used the non AE version since like… 2009.
anyways, i open particle render, reinstalled it several times, because I cannot for the life of me find an ption that deals iwth transparency and pngs? i have the option to render as AVI, and then several codecs within that, but none are the ones mentioned with transparency options in other threads. I also went through the codecs and found none.
i also can render as wmv, but you know… no. any idea what went wrong?

It’s been a while since I’ve opened the Windows version of pIRender, but if there’s not a place to specify the output format (PNG sequence) then just try adding a “.png” to the filename. There should be a “save alpha” checkbox somewhere that you need to check too. Image sequences are not in the movie (AVI or WMV) options.
