I come to you all again for help. Our current work flow is all SD, However our studio has Decklink Pro HD and a HDLink to preview SD and HD cotent. Today on a whim I decided to copy over the Glacier Bay project and source matieral from the HD Sampler CD and can not obtain realtime playback on my preview monitor it only shows me a still ( at full 1080i res ) of the first frame to be played. Any thoughts. The video playback setting is “Blackmagic Decklink HDTV 1080i 30 HZ – 8 Bit (1920 x 1080) “.

    Thanks

Sounds similar to our problem. I’m watching this thread.

    Hi,

This sounds more like a configuration issue. Make sure you easy setups match the format of the clips you’re trying to play. If the clips are in DVCPRO HD at 1080i59.94, use “Blackmagic HDTV 1080i 59.94 – DVCPRO HD” in Final Cut Pro’s easy setups (Final Cut Pro > Easy Setup…).

You can check the format of the clips in Final Cut Pro’s Browser window.

    regards
