    Hello,

Im editing in a 1080p/23.976 project, on a Media Composer v3.1.3.5140 system and am not seeing my effects render in the client monitor. Is there a preference I need to adjust or this function just not available in the newer versions of Media Composer?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Thats funny, because I forgot the Avid meridians use to do that. I think that stopped with the adrenalines forward.

    Well that’s unfortunate.

    Thanks for your input.

If you mean frame by frame output as the effect actually renders, I’ve never seen that option in my Adrenaline. If you mean displaying a single frame with effects as you park your playhead in the sequence, there is an option called “Render-On-The-Fly” in Trim settings. Ensure it’s checked.

I just heard back from Avid. The ability to watch effects render frame by frame in the client monitor went bye-bye with meridians. Adrenaline and Nitris can’t do it.

Yeah, the Meridian had an option to watch each frame it was rendering. It was the most painful thing to watch – so I always turned it off.
