No pdated events or projects after updating to 10.1.
Posted by Anette Olsen on February 26, 2014 at 9:19 pmFrustration: after updating to fcp 10.1.1 and after updating my Events and projects, they don’t show in the Lobrary, and there are no new folders called Updated events.
I have Mavericks, I have tried trashing fcp preferences, nothing works. I can’t access my events – what to do??

February 26, 2014 at 9:41 pmDid you get an error or warning? Did you choose to save the Events and projects when asked?

February 26, 2014 at 9:52 pmAnd did you choose to save the afterwords? You should have a dialogue box that asked you to save or cancel.

February 26, 2014 at 9:55 pmOK. This seems to me that this process wasn’t complete.
Choose File > Update Project and Events.
Then chose Locate, and point FCPX to where your Events and Projects are currently located.
Does that work?

February 26, 2014 at 10:10 pmThat’s correct. Next, just click “Update” on the bottom right.

February 26, 2014 at 10:26 pmIn the meantime I installed Event Manager, and that made the trick, at least now I can see one of my updated projevcts/events, the one I need to work on!
Thanx – I’ll try what you said also. -

February 27, 2014 at 8:23 pmHad you moved your projects and events? It can only update the ones it can see.
