No output to deck
I can’t output from FCP to Betacam deck. It’s driving me crazy.
First I had a ref. video problem and I solved it with “Y loop trough ref.in”. But now I can’t get video out to deck. Audio is ok, but there’s no video out. Just bluish/purple screen…

What are you feeding out? A bluish/purple screen sounds like you’ve got Component cables connected to your deck, but your system is outputting a Composite Signal.
Check the outputs on your Multibridge and ensure you’re outputting the correct signal.

Hi Walter,
that’s the same thing that confusing me. In System Preferences/Decklink, under Output I have only: “All Outputs Active”. Other than that I have only “Set DVI output preferences” and “Enable Dual Link 4:4:4 Out” but these are monitoring options.Mac Quad 2.5; OS 10.4.6

So you don’t have any options to only output Component or only output Composite? Both Component and Composite are hot at all times?
Then I’m really not sure, you should check with BMD on that one.
