No OpenGL in SonyVegas
Hallo Forum,
I am using sony Vegas and tried out your Particle Illusion Plugin for that. But always I try to use a particle effect I only see a “No OpenGL” massage in the preview window of Sony Vegas. I know, I have a graphic card that is not supportet by Vegas to use OpenGL. But I also tried the standalone of ParticleIllusion and there I can use the effects and see it in the big window (as software rendering I suppose). So thats fully o.k. for me.
But my Question now is, why does the preview not also work in the plugin for Vegas?

I should imagine it has something to do in the way that the OpenGL allows Vegas to get at that part of pI that requires OpenGL to be patched into it. Whereas the SA version, not requiring OpenGL, doesn’t. Which would be borne out by your experience.
But that’s only a guess on my part.
