First let me say it’s great to see Andrew Kramer over here, he’s one of the very best.

Ok…here’s my problem. I have Photoshop 7.0, Photoshop CS1 and CS2 and I am experiencing the same problem in all. The problem is that via using the type tool in any of the afore mentioned apps. ALL I get is upper case. No lower case at all. Caps lock is not on.

If I type “hi there” it comes out “HI THERE”, however the layer menu thinks it’s lower case and displays “hi there”.

Only Photoshop apps. are doing this, not Illustrator, AE or PowerPoint.

I’ve completely reinstalled Photoshop CS2 and that did not take care of it. Any ideas out there??

Look in Character Pallete and see of you have any of the optinonal buttons (such as All Caps or Small Caps checked)
