August 9, 2011 at 6:48 amHi, thanks, yes I know that, but I am talking about a proper keyframe editor where you can copy, paste, bezier curve and adjust accurately.
Nope, FCX is so far from usable in a professional environment, I have sold my MBP and my macpro is on eBay… I am 100% finished with apple products.
Premiere Pro has been fantastic, and upgrade FCP8 should have been…
Thanks anyway…

August 9, 2011 at 12:56 pmI also thought I found that keyframe editor on the first day FCPX came out. Then I realized it didn’t really work and marking keyframes and moving them is a far cry from actually editing them.
I have not gotten rid of my Apple products alltogether as I like the build quality, the technology under the hood, and I like OSX… Guilty. I have however made the switch to Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5
I could not agree more with Premiere Pro being what FCP8 should have been. There are still afew things that I would like to see, but overall, I’ve been very pleased. Also, I feel a lot better in Adobe’s hands than in Apple’s. When Apple ditches the pros, they feel nothing… If Adobe ditched the pros, that’s the end of Adobe. I have the confidence that Adobe will listen and make the adjustments necessary to get Premiere to really shine.

October 13, 2011 at 9:27 pmThis does not work at all for color correction, although it seems that is how it is SUPPOSED to work. It even says so in the manual.
What is the deal here? I’m about to throw my computer through the window! I refuse to send my project to Color and back to do basic color correction.

October 14, 2011 at 9:36 amMate, don’t throw your computer away, just throw fcpx away, it’s prosumer rubbish! Premiere is doing fantastic things…

May 12, 2012 at 5:01 pmNot being able to keyframe color corrections is stopping me from realizing some creative ideas. When the tool gets in the way, that’s when I find a new tool.
This is frustrating, especially considering that “Color” shows up in the Video Animations keyframe editor. Are they trying to fool us into thinking it’s possible???
