No HD playback from SAN
I captured a video that is HD, 53 seconds long via PremierePro and a BlackMagic Multibridge to a Roarke Data SAN. The video captured without any problem but when I create a project, import the video and try to play it in the source or program window, it plays 8-12 frames then stops. If I play the same video file using windows media player, it plays without any problems. The network is not being taxed as evidenced by the Networking Graph in the Windows Task Manager, (about 60%), and the SAN is virtually empty. 720×480 sd video plays fine.
I’ve tried it on two other edit suites that are identical and connected to the same SAN with the same results. Is there something in Premiere that is causing it to not play? Am I needing another network connection?
