no external monitor, no exporting to tape
Hi
I’m using a Sony PD170 and Adobe Premiere and i have the following issue:
I made a sequence of 3 minutes and want to put in back on tape for professional purpose. When i export it to tape, it starts to record but it doesn’t record a thing. Instead it records black screen. I’ve also noticed that nothing happens on the external display on the camcorder as it used to do when i export sequences to tapes. I’ve already resetted the camcorder with no results.
Any help would be very very welcome

I had the same problem before, and I was suggested to do this:
Go to Project Settings > General > Playback Settings > DV1394
Make sure “Always Output to 1394” is selected.This sorted the problem for me, I hope it works for you too.
