  No Device Control on Print To Tape With DSR-11

  I’ve posted this over at the Sony Forum as well as Sony tech support, but so far, no info.

  I can capture, and control my Sony DSR-11 just fine using Vegas 6.0b.
  I can’t, however, control the device during print to tape. All the
  options are greyed out on the PTT screen, except the first one, it says:

  Manual (no device control)
  Device must be manually cued and set to record

  I had no problems controlling the DSR-11 with Vegas 5. I’ve just
  reinstalled XP Pro, Vegas 6.0b, Acis Music Studio, DVDA3, AFter Effects 6.5,
  and XP service Pack 1 updates.

  The Sony DV device shows up under the control panel and I can preview
  to it. I’ve tried to toggle the preview to external monitor as
  suggested on the forum, but still no control.

  I’ve turned off Media Manager because Vegas won’t start when it’s
  turned on.

  I have a Dell Precision 350 workstation that worked really well with
  Veghas 5.
