  No Audio from QuickTime Pro

  Hi,
  I just installed the Update to OS 10.4.9 and QT 7.1.5 I have QT Pro. I run a Motu 896HD for my audio. Now when I play any file in QT all I get for Audio is small intermittent high pitch tones and little clicks. So then I play the sound file thu ITunes and all is well. When I try one of my Video clips in QT (QT File) no audio same sounds. When I switch to built in audio in Sys Prefs QT works fine. Soon as I switch back to Motu out clicks and tones. Random conflict between QT and Motu? Downloaded new drivers for Motu still no good. Trashed QT prefs no go. Any suggestions?
