No Audio from BAck Speakers on NEw dual Quad Core
So I just bought a new dual quad core.. and plugged my speakers in (which work on my g5 tower) and.. nothing. I plugged the same speaker jack into the front headphone jack on the front of the tower… and it worked! So I sent it back to apple and got a brand new tower… I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE on the new one!!!
I am not sure what to do now… any ideas? Did they change the type of speakers you can use on the new?

In the sound settings in system preferences set the audio out to use line out.
The front conection is a headphone conection not a line out conection.
There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!
